Supplier Quality Engineer (Fresh Grad)
(Bukit Raja - Shah Alam)
Responsibility:
* Responsible to work & feedback to suppliers on the daily production material quality issue.
* To perform trouble-shooting analysis or evaluation on components’ failure found at production for further actions taken to prevent recurrence. To initiate corrective action on component failures related to system,process or product discrepancies to the responsible supplier or department,and follow-up with the corrective action until closed satisfactory. He/She are also responsible to participate in the problem solving with his peers and suggest any improvement method that could improve quality yield.
* Responsible to confirm all NCMs and ensure that all in-line rejected materials raised through MDR form are documented clearly to distinguish the materials or manufacturing defects.
* To prepare and updates incoming inspection plan,and ensure that they are implemented effectively by the IQA personnel. Further guides them in the interpretation of customer incoming quality plan,inspection methodology and components’ specifications.
* Responsible to handle all customer feedback or complaint on related component failure and perform analysis and follow-up action as per item# 2 above.
* Monitor Supplier quality performance to maintain the highest quality components.
* Organize periodic quality review with supplier and compile scorecard according to customer requirement.
* Participate in initial supplier survey with sourcing or customer,periodic supplier On-Site quality audit.
* Work with supplier on Continuous Supplier Improvement Program (eg DPPM reduction plan,serious quality issue follow up).
* Participate in new product qualification,transition and pilot run. Responsible for reviewing First Article inspection report and compile First Article data package.
* Define a comprehensive quality system at key suppliers for effective control on supplier line yield,process capability,and outgoing LAR/DPPM and FA response.
* Assess and recommend supplier for VSTS qualification. Responsible for supplier quality performance review and data preparation for VSTS certification.
* Authorized to purge components from or stop the release of incoming components to the production/store when discrepancies were found as result of component failures.
* Direct contact with the supplier pertaining to quality issues & audits.
* To conduct quality review/discussion /problem solving with supplier via conference call,supplier meeting or visit key local suppliers.
* Understand supplier manufacturing process in detail by getting supplier process flow,quality control plan or more process related information and visiting supplier plant.
* SQE should view supplier manufacturing process as an extension to our process and involve in supplier process control aggressively .
* SQE should assume a more positive role by being a team player in QIP meeting and work closely with PE/QE/IQC/Purchasing to resolve quality issue.
* With a wider and more in depth product/process knowledge,SQE can advise supplier on preventive measures.
* SQE will be viewed upon as a liaison between Vista Point Technologies,supplier & customer (LAR/DPPM target,QBR meeting,FA qualification).
Requirement:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic)
* Must be able to speak Mandarin.

* At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Preferably specializing in Supplier Quality - Engineer or equivalent.
